The notion that once we reach middle age our best days are behind us is utter HOGWASH! At 40, 50 or 60, we remain the same marvelously created woman or man we were at 25–only better!
We are proud to introduce our new weekly 30-minute Internet radio program, “Middle Age Your Best Age” which debuts on WebTalkRadio.net the week of May 28, 2012. Our program will be hosted by Roy Richards, “the human alarm clock,” primary contributor to this blog and author of the book A Mid-Life Challenge WAKE UP!
Our program is targeted to anyone over 40 who suffers from the twin midlife curses of “lost dreams” and “diminished expectations.” If your present daily routine or your outlook on the future is stressful, dull or uninspiring, our program is for you! Over the weeks and months to come, we will strive to convince you that enjoyment of the present moment and a hopeful spirit of adventure are not reserved exclusively for the young.
With solid guidance and inspiration, those of us in life’s second half can regain control of our own destinies and can direct our lives to a predetermined destination of our dreams. Each week our program will address and propose solutions to one or more common challenges facing listeners in their forties, fifties and beyond. Here are just a few:
- How to escape from a stressful, boring or dead-end career.
- Avoid midlife crisis–act like a child!
- Marriage check-up: restore romance, adventure and heartfelt mutual respect to your sagging midlife relationship.
- How to convince your boss that at 50 you are not over the hill.
- How to recover from unemployment and move to the career of your dreams.
- Advice to the boss: here’s what your seasoned employees want!
Our program is designed for you, the middle age listener. Emphasis will be on practical advice and sharing of inspirational life experiences from folks just like you and me who have overcome challenges and are moving forward to the life of their dreams. We want to speak with men and women who have “been there” and “done that.” From time to time we also will invite expert guests who can help point the way to effective solutions.
